Starting Your Journey


  • The first step on the journey to increasing your Protection program sales is assessing your skills.  Are you a novice or an expert, or somewhere in between? Perhaps you just want to brush up on your skills, or perhaps you want to attempt to earn Masters status. 


  • A good place to start your journey to improving your skills is to review the materials below for each of the six standard skill levels and the Masters level.  Levels advance from "Novice," to "Beginner," to "Advanced," to "Competent," to "Proficient," to "Expert."  The "Master" level can be obtained by first passing all prior Standard levels and then passing the Masters Level exam.  


  • Along your journey you will learn about the plan’s details, the benefits of the plan, the claims process, types of plans & coverages, what is not covered under the plan, overcoming objections, best practices, and selling techniques. Each level will give you detailed information that can be used to help you improve your protection plan sales. Are you ready for your journey?
